The broad and rigid blade of the chef´s knife is suitable for cutting up big vegetables, for carving thick slices of meat, slicing fish or for chopping and finely mincing herbs, onions, garlic. You will use in turn the heel, the tip, the flat or the middle part of the blade.
The Riyouri style knive have been designed with Japanese knives as examples. Riyouri means dish or kitchenstyle in Japanese.
